Merry Christmas All.

First Garage Sale.
I went to my first lot of garage sales a few weeks ago and man did I find some treasures. Really cant wait for more, but all the holidays fall on Saturdays… guess I’ll just have to wait :D

At one of the garage sales my mum called me over to a box of patterns. As I was looking through the ower/seller said $5 for the box. I replied ‘done’. Once I got home I cataloged all my new patterns, all 70 of them! (thats 7c each)

Here is a few that i LOVE.

Op Shop Finds I & II

So not long after getting home from one op shop, I’m off to another! This op shop may or may not have refused children’s toys for Christmas one year, allegedly, and is not my favorite place! But I did find a few good patterns! And some pants for work…
Total Cost: $4.00.

Welcome to my Blog.

Welcome!
For so long I’ve wanted to start a blog about my sewing. I was inspired to do this after finding this blog http://www.sewweekly.com/ I just love her!

Now that I’m finally in a house that has the space for it, it’ll be go, go, go! I love the 1940's/50's. Most of my sewing will involve Vintage in some way. It may be the Fabric, the pattern or the style. Most of my resources will come from reusing, recycling, revamping old fabrics, mostly from op shops, garage sales and deceased estates.

I hope you enjoy what’s to come!

Happy sewing.
