Jean is my Grandmother, Leslie is not my Grandfather... 

Rather romantic.

After some digging I did find out that HOOD, Leslie C, Ordinary Signalman, C/JX 206799, Bracon Moor, 7 March 1941, killed

My Grandma was married to my Grandpa in 39, wonder what could have happened.... 

Amazing what you can find out with just a name!
